Estela presents at the Pint of Science about carbon dioxide removal (CDR).
“This talk highlights the need to achieve net-zero CO2 emissions to combat climate change. The three approaches to deal with CO2, namely CO2 avoidance, CO2 reduction, and CO2 removal, are discussed along with their application in the energy system, heating, transportation, and agricultural sectors. The talk also covers upcoming technologies, including carbon dioxide removal techniques, and the need for a just and inclusive transition to a CO2-neutral economy. While the focus is on Germany’s case, questions related to any carbon-related issue during the presentation are encouraged!”
